NASA captured extraordinary images of super typhoon Nuri from space. The super typhoon became one of the most destructive typhoons of 2014 travelling across waters of the western Pacific Ocean. Thankfully it was far away from land.

Weather.com revealed that according to the “U.S. military’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center, Nuri’s maximum 1-minute sustained winds reached 180 mph Sunday afternoon and remained there through 7 a.m. EST Monday.”
