France/Spain assess storm damage

-01.25.09- Authorities in south-western France and northern Spain have begun clearing up after hurricane force winds battered the region, killing 15 people. European countries sent electricians to France to help restore power to more than a million homes after the fiercest storm in a decade left four people dead. In Spain, troops helped emergency services fight a forest fire in La Nucia, north of Benidorm in Alicante province, which was started when a tree felled an electricity pylon. Read more
